It’s easy to make and comes with the goodness of vegetables. This recipe from South Korea is called Bibimbap! The word bibimbap literally means “mixed rice” which gives you a pretty accurate description of what to expect in this dish. A hearty bowl of bibimbap is filled with rice at the bottom and topped with a variety of vegetables spread out on a bed of white rice. In addition to the vegetables, there are pieces of meat or chicken, but this is completely optional. Before serving, crack an egg on top and spread soy sauce, soy bean paste and Korean red chili sauce. You have to mix the hot ingredients, fold the sauces, and fold the sticky egg before you have this meal.

Originally this dish is from Korea, but given the lack of ingredients and different taste preferences, we bring you an Indian version of bibimbap. It’s nutritious and delicious!

Also add the vegetables of your choice

To do this, you will need cherry tomatoes, garlic, onions, kashmiri chili powder, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, sugar, bean sprouts, mushrooms, eggplant, chicken breast, green beans, zucchini, cucumber and cooked white rice.

First, cook your rice. While the rice is cooking, cook your chicken in a separate saucepan. Side by side, prepare to marinate the chicken. To do this, you will need soy sauce, chopped garlic and sesame oil. When your chicken is cooked, marinate it and keep it in the refrigerator for an hour. Until then, prepare the sauce. To do this, you will need cherry tomatoes, chopped garlic, salt, onions, chili powder, soy sauce and chili flakes. Fry the onions and tomatoes in a pan until they soften, then mix all the ingredients in a blender to get a pasty consistency.

When your basics are done, thinly slice the vegetables and blanch them. Make sure you squeeze out the extra water. Fry the vegetables in sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. To this, also add your marinated chicken and cook with vegetables over high heat.

Finally, in the rice bowl, add the vegetables and the chicken from above. Pour in the prepared sauce and place a fried egg over the bowl. Your Indian bibimbap is ready!
