Similar name but a different location, VegeNation in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a casual spot for quality vegan variations of dinner favorites. From vegan spaghetti and meatballs to vegan “mac and cheese” burgers, these items seem to steal the hearts of meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike.
“We had tots, cauliflower wings and the Big Daddy Burger (mac & cheese on the burger with BBQ sauce). To be honest, everything was delicious, even as a meat eater. I didn’t miss the meat,” writes Tripavisor reviewer Robbie Fitz.
Fancy vegan food with an international touch? The Laughing Seed Cafe is rated as a “Must-Eat” restaurant by KTolleyTravel. This place is known for its Harmony Bowl, which consists of layers of brown rice, black beans, marinated and grilled tofu or tempeh, steamed vegetables, and with sesame ginger sauce.

Green Elephant in Portsmouth, NH is the Asian-inspired vegetarian bistro that you didn’t know you had to try. According to Tripadvisor, it’s actually Portsmouth’s # 1 restaurant – and it’s strictly vegetarian!
This place has several classic Asian-inspired dishes like pad thai, dumplings, stir-fries, fried rice, and more. Granted, our mouths water just think about it. According to Tripadvisor reviews, Planta South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida seems like the place to try vegan sushi. The menu features many vegan versions of popular sushi rolls like the California Roll, the Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Rainbow Roll – plus there is crispy rice. And if this place sounds good to you but you don’t want to travel all the way to South Beach, there are two other locations in Florida, one location in New York and four locations in Toronto, Canada.

The menu is packed with plenty of take-away options, including the top seller salad, the Live Kale. Many of their chickun options – which are made with seasoned breaded soy rather than real chicken – are also customer favorites on the menu like their chickun tenders and chickun salad.
And if the menu hasn’t captivated you, the staff definitely will. Tripadvisor reviewers rave about the friendly staff and incredible service at this Baltimore restaurant.
