Rebel Wilson’s Reveals Reason for Weight Loss Journey

One of the biggest celebrity interest stories of recent time has been about Rebel Wilson and her journey to weight loss. It was real to see her sharing her successes and failures with her fans via Instagram and interviews. It’s all everyone wants to talk about when she’s doing gigs or giving interviews, and Wilson recently revealed what made her want to lose some weight. Everything revolved around the desire for a family.

It’s been a little over a year since Rebel Wilson really tried to lose weight. By April 2021, Wilson had lost 65 pounds. This is a respectable loss and well worth the attention she gets for it.

Wilson didn’t do it out of vanity, however. She always said that she felt pretty healthy where she was and didn’t feel like she had to lose weight for looks. At first, she even said that she was really offended when her doctor told her that she had to be healthier because she felt as good as she was.

At 41, Rebel Wilson was open about her desire to have kids or “mini-mes” running around, as she told Page Six. The reason for the weight loss was that Wilson really wanted a family, and losing a few pounds would make the pregnancy a little easier. Her doctor told her that losing weight would give her better chances of getting viable, healthy eggs to freeze, so Rebel Wilson decided to work on it.

Rebel Wilson named 2020 her year of health

Wilson focused on health rather than fad diets or weight loss, and talked about getting healthy rather than losing weight. She had a target weight, however, and as of October 2020 she was within six pounds of that weight. By April 2021, she had lost 65 pounds and was showing off her new slimmer figure on Instagram posts.

Wilson apparently loves showing off her new look. Many of her posts show that she is wearing swimwear. She has a lot to be proud of as it is not easy to lose weight or improve for future endeavors.

Will there be any “mini-mes” from Rebel Wilson in the future?

Unfortunately, Rebel Wilson’s efforts to raise a family may not have the fairytale ending she was hoping for. She recently shared on Instagram that she had bad news regarding her fertility journey. “To all of the women out there struggling with fertility,” she said, “I feel you.” She didn’t elaborate on what the bad news actually was, but she said she felt like someone was To have to tell about their struggles.

Wilson made this post in May 2021. Fans and friends praised her for sharing something so personal and applauded her courage. Fertility struggles are a challenge, and Wilson shared her own, encouraging so many, and receiving support from thousands of people.

In February 2021, they separated from their long-time friend Jacob Busch. Still, Wilson says she feels fine. She has upcoming films and is hosting Pooch Perfect.

It seems like Rebel Wilson has had a rough few months behind her, but we hope to see good news about her fertility journey on her Instagram soon.
