And Chanelle Hayes looked happier and healthier than ever during a fun day with her son Frankie earlier this week at the National Coal Mining Museum.

The mother of two cut a chic figure in sky blue overalls as she played with her little one on a jungle gym outdoors.

The brunette beauty stood out in the colorful ensemble, which featured ribbed detailing, cap sleeves and a flattering tie belt at the waist.

Chanelle looked pretty as she styled her choppy locks in subtle waves and matched her son cute with her glasses.

She has given her funny photo set a playful title: “Insta vs Reality”.

“Frankie and I went to the coal mining museum the other day. I can’t believe he’ll be 4 years old in a few weeks and START SCHOOL a few days later. Do any of you feel that your youngest are still babies, even though they grow up to be little people so quickly ?! ‘

“I can never take a lot of photos when I’m out with the kids because a) I have to pay them 20p per photo and b) they both think they’re too cool to take pictures with their ’embarrassing mother’. I don’t know how people can be so organized and their children so obedient that they can actually take a lot of beautiful pictures. I have a job sorting us all out and getting us all out of the house, lol. ‘

She also added a number of captions to document her day at the museum: ‘#mumlife #momlife #mumbloggeruk #momblogger #parenting #adultingishard #family #weightlossjourney #weightloss’

WHAT IS BARIATRIC SURGERY?

Bariatric surgery is a variety of procedures designed to help a patient lose weight.

Operations include making the stomach smaller with a gastric band or removing part of the stomach with a gastric cuff.

This includes gastric bypass surgery, where surgeons redirect the intestines into a small stomach pouch that shrinks the stomach.

Discussing how changing her mindset helped her practice self-love and see herself differently, Chanelle previously revealed, “I’ve come to realize over the past few years that I am who I imagine. When I grew up, I thought of myself as “ugly”, “the funny fat friend”, “unworthy”, “disgusting”.

“But even when I was size 6 and weighed less than 7 kilos, I still didn’t feel well enough and constantly compared myself to others who were prettier or thinner, smarter or more popular.”

She continued, “I do not admit to being magically“ fixed ”and having the secrets to learn to be happy all the time. But since August 1st, 2020, I’ve been telling myself every day that I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, I’m pretty enough, I’m HOT STUFF. I don’t care if anyone agrees, I only compete with myself and only achieve for myself. ‘

Chanelle admitted that she can still struggle with self-acceptance, adding, “I’m not happy every day, I have bad moods and negative days, but I’m the most satisfied with myself I’ve ever been in my life.

Chanelle decided to have gastric sleeve surgery last August and has since gone from size 18 to size 10.

The procedure dramatically reduces the capacity of the stomach to support significant long-term weight loss.
