Bungee fitness

Who needs to bungee jump off a bridge when you can go to the Func Factory and safely bungee through a studio? Func Factory, a private training facility in Hermitage, is hosting an innovative fitness class called Fly Fit 615, which allows you to attach yourself to a suspended bungee rope and defy gravity while you exercise. Owned by business associates Anica Parrish and Danea Roberts, the course is a fantastic way to meet friends and get your adrenaline pumping.

Ax throwing

Even if ax throwing is not necessarily considered “fitness” in the traditional sense, you will undoubtedly train some muscles here. Whether you go to Bad Ax Throwing, BATL, AxeVentures, or Blade and Timber, you can expect to be trained through throwing techniques and team building skills that will relieve stress, talk to your primordial core, and challenge your abs and upper arms. And if your workout deserves a sip after your workout, some of the indoor ax throwers even have cocktail bars, although we recommend throwing first and drinking later.

Country fusion

Elizabeth Mooney spent her childhood vacations on a ranch in upstate New York, which sparked her passion for the country life and eventually led her to Nashville. As a dancer since she was two, she has developed Country Fusion – a fitness class that combines line dancing with everything from hip-hop and salsa to ballroom and belly dancing. She opened her headquarters in Music City on July 5, 2021, the rest is history. “People’s time is valuable. When I go to class, I want to do more than just sweat, ”she tells us. “I want to learn something. Here at Country Fusion people learn real line dances and get great training. I like to say, ‘It’s sneakers and water bottles meet whiskey and cowboy boots.’ “Even better, you can take what you’ve learned and paint the city red. “It’s really about building confidence and feeling good about our bodies,” adds Elizabeth. “It’s a safe place where people feel healthy and at ease. And then if you want to go dancing then go dancing! ”Get your line dance by visiting countryfusion.net.
